Fun ideas for bespoke kids’ bathrooms
Whether you are considering making modifications to the existing family bathroom or dedicating an entire bathroom just to your children, there are a couple of things that you may want to take into consideration. The number one rule in designing a bathroom for your children is that it can be a good idea to steer clear of character themes. They are often not cheap to create, and your children will probably grow out of them rather fast, which means you will probably find yourself needing to update things sooner than you would perhaps like.

Underwater
An underwater theme can be an excellent idea for a children’s bathroom. Blue tiles will create a fantastic backdrop for some transfers of marine plants and fish. You could even add a few fish transfers to the side of the bath to tie the theme in nicely. Add some nice bright accessories that really complement the colour scheme and a few pictures of fishes for the walls, and you have an enjoyable place for your children to bathe – but don’t forget the squirty fish for the bath.
Rubber ducks
Is there anything that says bath time more than a bright yellow rubber duck? There are some truly stunning bathroom suites out there in different colours, opt for something with blue accents and pair it with blue walls. Crisp white towels and yellow accessories are a great way to complete the look. Make sure that you add plenty of rubber ducks to the bathroom to really bring your colour scheme together. If you have an over the bath shower and would like to add a shower curtain rather than a screen, then you are sure to be able to find something with ducks on it.
Bright colours
If you would like to keep your bathroom as theme free as possible but still, make it a fun space for your children then why not opt for colourful tiles. Whether you opt for patterns such as spots or stripes or prefer a selection of different bold coloured tiles interspersed with white, this can be a great way to liven up a child’s bathroom. Complete the look with complementary coloured accessories and towels and it’ll be a stylish fun place that is functional yet inviting.
